Cadence is not an in-network provider and does not bill insurance. While many insurance companies will allow subscribers to submit their out-of-pocket payments for insurance reimbursement (and you are encouraged to check your insurance benefits in advance), reimbursement rates vary depending on the specifics of your insurance. Payments for services at Cadence are due at time of service. Individual therapy sessions range from $185-$275 per session, depending on the seniority of the clinician.

I have DBT therapy outside of Cadence and my therapist has recommended I enroll in a DBT Skills Group at Cadence to supplement my individual therapy.

Cadence is strongly committed to addressing the shortage of mental health care providers in Washington State. As such, Cadence trains a number of clinicians who are working towards independent licensure and practice, but who are still pre-licensure, “associate therapists.” Associate therapists:

Are supervised by our clinic directors and most senior staff and as such, video-record all therapy sessions. These recordings are deleted after they are review by the supervisor.
Are lower-fee for services ($185-$200/session compared to $230-$275/session).
May have availability sooner than senior staff.
