Dr. Hakimi Ederer completed her doctoral degree at The George Washington University and received her internship training at Children’s Hospital, Denver. Manda completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Oakland, ultimately becoming the Director of the adolescent Outpatient Eating Disorders Program and Co-Chair of the National California Best-Practice for Eating Disorders within the organization. Manda has been a licensed clinical psychologist in practice for 20 years. She has been the Eating Disorders Program Lead at Cadence since 2013.

I provide evidence-based treatments to children, adolescents, parents and adults. My areas of specialization include eating disorders, anxiety, depression, ADHD and disruptive behavior disorders, mood disorders, identity issues, adjustment issues including divorce/separation, school stress, parenting and family stress, coping with chronic and acute illness and youth sports psychology. I emphasize evidence-based treatments to reduce suffering and promote well-being, marrying clear guidance with empathetic understanding.
