Paige Harris

Co-Director of Anxiety & OCD Program, Psychologist, She/Her

Dr. Paige Harris earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Washington and completed her internship at the University of California Los Angeles Medical Center. She has specific expertise in the treatment of anxiety, OCD, and related disorders, as well as experience working with LGBTQ+ youth and their families, including youth exploring or questioning gender identity and/or sexual orientation. Paige trained with a number of treatment developers and was a provider in a variety of specialty programs before coming to Cadence. She values sharing her acquired knowledge through her supervision of trainees.

What Dr. Harris would like you to know about her:

I enjoy working with children as young as 6 to young adults, as well as their parents, and provide a number of treatments proven to help people facing challenges with anxiety or OCD, including Exposure and Response Prevention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions), and exposure-based therapies more generally. Overcoming fears or worry can feel immensely challenging AND rewarding - I help my clients do so with warmth, playfulness, enthusiasm, openness, and humor. I bring the same qualities to my work coaching parents in the most effective ways to support their children in overcoming anxiety or OCD. Additionally, I welcome clients of all identities and approach the LGBTQ+ youth I am lucky to work with from an affirming stance. Exploring and understanding those identities that are important to us can greatly contribute to our happiness, and I provide guidance and support to families around doing so.
